Pen Academic provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that makes research freely available to the public and supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Pen Academic supports The Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

Pen Academic adopts the Gold Open Access - GOA. In which archives other than the journal, a published article can be shared is specified in the Dijital Archiving and Copyright Options. In addition, in the Research Ethics Policy, open access provisions for all stakeholders of the study were evaluated within the scope of ethical responsibilities.
